President Franklin Roosevelt outlined what he called the “Four Freedoms” in his 1941 State of the Union address. This clip of a Paramount Newsreel courtesy the FDR Presidential Library and Museum includes that portion of the speech. The film is preceded by an interview with Paul Sparrow, director of the FDR Library.
