Kalyn A. is a 13 year old Mountain MIddle School student. She has found a deep interest in the amount of homework in the past couple months. Being a full-time competitive dancer and attending a very high academic school, has found the difficulty of juggling her time. She feels like the amount of homework has been getting out of hand in the last decade. She hopes to find that her speech will change the minds of school boards throughout Durango.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
