Franco Mariotti is an avid naturalist and world traveler. His extensive travels and love for natural history have shaped his involvement with several environmental community groups. He is a founding member of both the Junction Creek Stewardship Committee and the Sudbury Naturalists Club. Franco has had a life-long vision for a greener Sudbury and has inspired others to share this vision and take action in their community.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
