The journey to leadership is not easy. The speaker in this TED Talk gives a good prospective of just how difficult it can be. She explains her struggles through military, and how she gained leadership through her experiences in the military. After her career in the military, she moved on to “corporate America”. After beginning her new career path, she noticed how strong her personality had become. She noticed that the way she stood up to her bosses at her new job was different from her coworkers. People looked up to her, and the courage she showed in her new job.
