In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. Georgia McMayon, nice, beautiful, talented, charismatic, are all words that her friends at Duchesne would use to describe her. Georgia is 10 years old. She is going to talk about singing and how it relaxes her, and she is going to sing a song from the musical Wicked. She likes to do cheerleading, and she enjoys spending time with her best friends. She is in fifth grade and her favorite subject is music. When she grows up she would like to be a singer. Before going to Duchesne she went to Southampton Montessori.
