Bill Phillips received his PhD from USC in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering. He worked as a design engineer, manager, and director for four different companies in the medical and high-tech communications area before co-founding an additional four medical device startup companies. He is the primary inventor on 8 issued patents and 14 current patent applications. His most recent and notable startup is NeoSync, Inc., which developed a device to treat mental disorders using magnetic fields and is curently in the process of obtaining FDA clearance.
